Marine crabs, also known as blue swimming crabs, are caught from the sea by trawlers and sent to different parts of the country from Cox’s Bazar. According to Amir Hossain, a crab trader, one kg of blue swimming crab is bought from fishermen for Tk200 and sold in the market for Tk250-Tk300 per kg.
