The Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) Platoon was officially inaugurated at Baitush Sharaf Jabbariya Academy School & College in Cox’s Bazar town.
The inauguration ceremony took place on Sunday morning at the Shah Abdul Jabbar Auditorium, marked by the hoisting of the national and BNCC flags under the 15 BNCC Battalion, Karnaphuli Regiment, Chattogram.
Later, a discussion meeting was held at the BNCC auditorium. The Director General of BNCC, Brigadier General Abu Said Al Masud, attended as the chief guest.
In his speech, the Director General encouraged the new BNCC cadets and students to become honest, capable, and patriotic citizens. He also advised students to focus on both their studies and careers, highlighting that trained BNCC members have opportunities to join the regular armed forces.
The event was presided over by MM Sirajul Islam, Director General of Baitush Sharaf Complex. Also present were Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Lokman Hossain, Commander of Karnaphuli Regiment, Chattogram; Major Md. Rafiqul Hasan Rafi, Adjutant of the Battalion ASC; Flotilla Commander Lieutenant Tanzim Zaman Tain; along with senior military officials from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as other dignitaries.
Earlier, the distinguished guest was given a Guard of Honour by the smartly turned-out BNCC cadets of Baitush Sharaf Jabbariya Academy School & College.
Following the ceremony, Brigadier General Abu Said Al Masud also planted a tree sapling.
