On weekly holidays, school and madrasa students from Jadughar Gram along Cox’s Bazar’s Marine Drive spend their free time fishing in the sea alongside local teenagers and young men.
The coastal village, locally known as Jadughar Gram, presents a different scene on weekends. Taking a break from their studies, students head towards the shore with fishing nets and join their friends in the water. They cast nets, wait for fish and share moments of fun as waves roll along the coast.
For these young people, fishing on their day off is not only part of life in the coastal village but also an enjoyable way to spend their free time.
