Several educational institutions in Cox’s Bazar have expressed solidarity with the global campaign “World Stops for Gaza,” which will take place on April 7. In support of the initiative, Cox’s Bazar International University (CBIU) and Cox’s Bazar City College have suspended all academic activities on that day.

According to an official statement, the CBIU Board of Trustees, students, and administration have all backed the campaign. To show solidarity, all classes will remain closed on April 7.

Similarly, Cox’s Bazar City College has also decided to suspend academic activities for the day. A notice signed by the college’s Principal, Akhtar Chowdhury, confirmed the institution’s participation in the initiative by keeping classes suspended.

The “World Stops for Gaza” campaign is a global movement aimed at raising awareness and showing solidarity with the people of Gaza in the face of ongoing humanitarian concerns.
