Tamanna Naurin Azam, Head of the English Department at Cox’s Bazar International University (CBIU), has been awarded the prestigious Women Tourism Leaders Award for her contributions to the tourism sector.
The award ceremony in Cox’s Bazar honored 20 women for their impactful work in promoting tourism. It was jointly organized by the ILO-ISEC Project of the International Labour Organization and the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Tamanna expressed her joy: “As a daughter of Cox’s Bazar, I’ve always dreamed of a beautiful, safe Cox’s Bazar that can represent Bangladesh to the world with pride.” She also thanked the organizers for the recognition and encouragement.
