Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin has arrived in Cox’s Bazar on a three-day personal visit.

He landed at Cox’s Bazar Airport by air from Dhaka at around 5:00 pm on Friday (20 February). Deputy Commissioner Md. Abdul Mannan and Superintendent of Police ANM Sajedur Rahman, along with other senior administrative officials, welcomed him at the airport.

The CEC drove from the airport to the Cox’s Bazar Circuit House, his designated lodging for his visit.

According to administrative sources, on Saturday (21 February) morning, the CEC will leave for his birthplace, Kutubdia. There, he is expected to visit the graves of his parents. In the afternoon, he will return to Cox’s Bazar from Kutubdia and spend the night again at the Circuit House.

Deputy Commissioner Md. Abdul Mannan said the Chief Election Commissioner is in Cox’s Bazar on a personal three-day visit and will depart for Dhaka by air on Sunday morning.
