A delegation from the Center for Environment, Human Rights, and Development Forum (CEHRDF), a sustainable development organization, visited various settlements in Jhilanja Union under Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila today.
Senior central leadership, local council organizers, and community members attended the visit. The team inspected villages, infrastructure, canals, wetlands, and water bodies to assess environmental conditions, the impact of climate change, human rights issues, and overall development.
CEHRDF leaders examined local agriculture, irrigation systems, forests, hills, and the broader natural environment during the visit. They also discussed with residents, farmers, business owners, and youth to understand the region’s social, economic, political, and cultural landscape.
In addition to gathering insights into local challenges and opportunities, the CEHRDF team informed the community about their ongoing initiatives and assured their support in regional development and human rights efforts.
CEHRDF reaffirmed its commitment to working alongside local stakeholders to promote sustainable development and environmental conservation in the region.
