Interim government Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus left Cox’s Bazar on Monday (August 25) afternoon after a brief three-hour visit.
He departed from Cox’s Bazar Airport at around 1:15 pm on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight bound for Dhaka, a security official at the airport confirmed. The departure was also verified by Cox’s Bazar district police spokesperson and Additional Superintendent of Police Md Jasim Uddin Chowdhury.
Earlier in the morning, Dr Yunus arrived at Cox’s Bazar Airport on a Biman flight around 10 am, where he was given a guard of honor. At 11 am, he traveled to Hotel Bay-Watch in Inani to attend an international conference joined by representatives from 40 countries.
