Nestled along the Marine Drive and surrounded by natural beauty, Pechar Dwip is a picturesque village in Ramu Upazila of Cox’s Bazar. Known for its eco-friendly resorts, the village has become a lively playground for local children and teenagers.

In Mongla Para of Pechar Dwip, young boys gather daily to play football, especially after school hours. The makeshift goalposts made of bamboo and wood add a rustic charm to the game, and the players immerse themselves in excitement and joy.

Watching these children play brings back childhood memories for many. However, locals express concern that rapid urbanization and modernization gradually reduce playgrounds, making such open-field games increasingly rare.

Despite the changes, the spirit of football remains alive in Pechar Dwip, where young players continue to find happiness in the simplest of joys—a ball, a field, and a shared love for the game.
