Cloudy skies accompanied by light drizzle have brought relief to daily life in Cox’s Bazar town. After several days of intense heat, residents are finally experiencing some comfort.
Since Tuesday morning, the sky has remained overcast, with intermittent light rain. As a result, temperatures have dropped slightly and a cooler feeling has set in.
Assistant meteorologist Abdul Hannan of the Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Office stated that seasonal winds influence the cloudy conditions, and light rain may continue.
He added that such weather may persist for the next few days, helping keep temperatures at a tolerable level.
Residents have expressed relief at the sudden change in weather. The rain has been particularly welcome for those working outdoors, offering much-needed respite from the recent heat.
