A coordination meeting on the overall progress, challenges, and future plans of the healthcare sector was held in Ukhiya yesterday. The session took place at the conference hall of the Upazila Health Complex and was chaired by Dr. Nasrin Jebin, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on strengthening primary healthcare services, maternal and child healthcare, regular vaccination programs, the prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and raising health awareness among the general population.
The discussion also highlighted the need to enhance coordination among field-level health workers, ensure an adequate supply of medical equipment and medicines, and provide quality healthcare services to patients.
Officials present included the resident medical officer of the Upazila Health Complex, Upazila Health Inspector, Upazila Health Assistant, EPI technicians, and other relevant staff.
