The long weekend and the Boishakh holiday have drawn a massive influx of tourists to Cox’s Bazar beach. From early morning, popular spots like Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni points were bustling with visitors, creating a lively atmosphere along the coastline.

Tourists indulged in various beach activities, including jet skiing, beach biking, horseback riding, and swimming in the sea. Many enjoyed the salty waves while families relaxed on the sandy shores, making the most of the holiday.

To ensure safety, the Cox’s Bazar District Administration’s Tourism Cell, Tourist Police (Cox’s Bazar Region), and Sea Safe Lifeguard members were actively monitoring the area. Patrols were increased, and additional security measures were taken at key points to manage the crowd effectively.

Local businesses are also benefiting from the surge in visitors. Hotel and restaurant owners reported a significant boost in bookings and sales, making this holiday weekend lucrative for the tourism sector.
