With the upcoming celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, preparations are in full swing at the Cox’s Bazar Eidgah ground to host the region’s largest Eid congregation. The district administration and municipal authorities have taken extensive measures to ensure a smooth and orderly prayer gathering for worshippers.
The ground is being thoroughly cleaned, and security is being reinforced with the deployment of law enforcement personnel. CCTV cameras will be installed to monitor the area. At the same time, arrangements for a water supply, temporary shades, and an emergency medical team have also been made for the convenience of worshippers.
“We have ensured cleanliness at the Eidgah, and law enforcement will maintain constant surveillance so that devotees can offer their prayers in a peaceful environment,” said a local administrative official.
Devotees have welcomed these initiatives, praising the authorities for their proactive approach. As in previous years, the Cox’s Bazar Eidgah is expected to host the largest Eid congregation in the district.
Once all preparations are complete, thousands of worshippers will gather at the ground on Eid morning, filling the atmosphere with prayers and festivity.
