One of the greatest attractions for travelers in Cox’s Bazar is the world’s longest marine drive road. Stretching 80 kilometers from Kolatoli in Cox’s Bazar town to Teknaf at the southernmost tip of Bangladesh, the Marine Drive is a rare wonder of natural beauty.
Here, the hills and the sea converge in a breathtaking panorama. On one side, the towering green hills; on the other, the endless expanse of the Bay of Bengal. The open sky above and the rolling waves below make Marine Drive an irresistible draw for tourists, often evoking the sentiment of the timeless song: “If only this road never ended…”
A journey along the Marine Drive offers not only the vast seascape but also glimpses of fishermen casting their nets, the lush evergreen forest of Teknaf’s famed Garjan woods, and in some places, cascading waterfalls descending from the hillsides.
