The Bangladesh Army is set to organize the first-ever Boishakhi Triathlon on May 10, 2025, in a vibrant celebration of fitness, endurance, and the pristine coastal landscape of Cox’s Bazar. The event, a landmark initiative by the 10th Infantry Division, will take place beside the scenic Reju Khal Bridge and is open to all participants.

The triathlon will challenge athletes with three sporting disciplines: 750 meters of open-water swimming in the Reju Khal, 20 kilometers of coastal cycling, and 5 kilometers of beachside running. It offers a unique stamina test against the stunning backdrop of Cox’s Bazar.

With a mission to promote eco-friendly tourism and active, healthy living, the Boishakhi Triathlon is expected to draw fitness enthusiasts, adventure seekers, and tourists from across the country.

The event will begin at 07:00 on May 10, with marshalling starting at 06:00. Participants must collect their race kits on May 9 at 1600 from the far side of the Reju Khal Bridge. The registration deadline is May 5, 2025.

The event is organized in partnership with the local community, including Cox’s Bazar Scouts, who have joined as the official community partner.
