Every morning in Cox’s Bazar, the fishing ghats come alive with activity. As soon as boats return from the sea loaded with fresh catches, wholesale buyers gather in numbers, eager to strike deals. They purchase fish directly from the fishermen at relatively lower prices, later selling them in local markets at a profit. At Inani and several other landing stations, the scene is the same—boats docking and traders rushing in. This daily cycle of fishing, bargaining, and selling creates a unique vibrancy along the coast. The photos were taken at Inani Beach, capturing the pulse of life in Cox’s Bazar’s fishing communities.
