The “Digital Island Moheshkhali” building, located at the heart of Moheshkhali, continues to attract visitors despite a decline in some of its modern facilities.
Once equipped with free Wi-Fi and other amenities, many of those services are no longer operational.
However, the site has retained its appeal due to its scenic surroundings and calm atmosphere.
A large old banyan tree beside the building adds to the charm of the place, offering shade and a peaceful environment. Visitors and locals often spend time sitting under the tree, enjoying moments of relaxation close to nature.
The building’s aesthetic design, combined with its natural setting, has also made it a popular spot for photography. Many people visit to capture memories, further contributing to the site’s continued popularity.
Local resident Jisan Uddin said that he and his friends often gather there in the afternoons. He added that the place would be even more enjoyable if facilities like Wi-Fi were restored.
Overall, despite reduced amenities, the “Digital Island Moheshkhali” building and its surrounding environment remain a unique attraction for visitors.
