Dhaka: Interim Government Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has called on all non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to work together in addressing the severe flood situation affecting 11 districts in the northeastern and southeastern regions of the country. He emphasized the importance of a coordinated approach, particularly in the distribution of relief and rehabilitation efforts after the floodwaters recede.

Dr. Yunus conveyed this directive during a meeting held today at the state guesthouse Jamuna at 3:30 PM with representatives from several leading NGOs. The meeting lasted until 5:30 PM, during which Dr. Yunus stressed that relief distribution and rehabilitation should be carried out collectively, rather than in isolated efforts, to ensure maximum efficiency and impact.
