The beach city Cox’s Bazar witnessed a rainy afternoon since 4:00 pm on August 24 after a sunny day. As there has been no rain since yesterday, the sunny days have brought some relief to the city dwellers.
Abdul Hannan, the assistant meteorologist of Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Department, said that heavy rainfall is possible today, and moderate to light rain is likely for the next three days.
Meanwhile, as the heavy rains stopped, the flood water started receding from the flood-affected areas of Cox’s Bazar which also brought some relief to them. However, the post-flood suffering may suffer them for a mentionable time.
