Under the blazing summer sun, farmer Abdul Hamid was seen busy drying freshly harvested paddy in North Goalia Village. Despite occasional storms and rain during the Bengali month of Boishakh, consistent sunshine has helped farmers complete harvesting and drying work on time. Hamid said a few more sunny days will fully dry the paddy, allowing the next stage of rice processing to begin.
