Farmers in Cox’s Bazar have begun preparing seedbeds for cultivating fine-grain paddy. Once the seedlings mature, they will be transplanted into agricultural fields for full-scale farming. The farmers have secured the seedbeds with nets to protect the sprouting seedlings from animals and birds. The harvesting of this fine-grain paddy is expected to begin by 2025.
