FIFA funds establishing a state-of-the-art technical center in Cox’s Bazar, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). 

A vast sports field adjacent to the Dreamland Entertainment Centre in Rashidnagar Union, Ramu Upazila, will host the center’s construction. To facilitate this, BFF has already applied to the Cox’s Bazar district administration to allocate 19.1 acres of land.

District Commissioner Mohammad Salah Uddin has instructed Ramu Upazila Assistant Land Commissioner Md—Sazzad Zahid Ratul to take necessary measures.

On Monday, December 2, Assistant Land Commissioner Md. Sazzad Zahid Ratul and BFF Vice President Mohammad Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy led a high-level delegation that inspected the proposed site as part of the process.

Wahid Uddin Chowdhury declared after the visit that environmental organizations’ objections led to the cancellation of the previously proposed site in Khuniapalong, Ramu. 

This location in Rashidnagar has been finalized after consulting all stakeholders. Based on our inspection, we believe this site is well-suited for constructing a high-quality football technical center.”
