Under the slogan “Play for Peace,” the first round of the Beach Football Tournament 2025, organized by the Hasi Mukh Youth and Social Development Foundation, a leading volunteer and non-profit organization in Ukhiya, was successfully held on Friday at Sonarpara Sea Beach.
The initiative aims to encourage young people to embrace harmony, cooperation, and leadership through sports. Leaders from the organizing foundation welcomed the players at the start of the event and expressed satisfaction over the disciplined management of the tournament.
The two matches played on the opening day showcased competitive spirit and sporting excellence, delighting the spectators. Local youth, guests, and attendees warmly welcomed the initiative and called for such events to continue in the future.
The tournament will conclude with a final match, where the winning team will be crowned champions.
Local sports enthusiasts and community leaders sponsored the jerseys for the four participating teams.
Mohammad Zahed, President of the Hasi Muk Foundation, expressed gratitude to all who supported the tournament’s smooth organization and success.
