Abdur Rashid Manik awarded the ‘Women’s Champion’ recognition to five women entrepreneurs from Moheshkhali for their outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship and business development.

The ceremony took place on Tuesday (September 30) at the Maheshkhali Upazila Parishad auditorium. Organized by the private development organization Enroute International, the event was graced by Jahanara Islam, President of the Cox’s Bazar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as the chief guest.

During the program, it was highlighted that many women participated in a six-month training program conducted by Enroot International, designed to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and business acumen. At the end of the training, evaluations across various categories led to the selection and presentation of the ‘Women’s Champion’ awards to five successful women.

Speakers at the event emphasized that initiatives empowering women to become self-reliant bring positive social change and urged the expansion of such programs.

The event was attended by representatives from the social, political, and administrative sectors, as well as media personnel and women participants in the training program.
