A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam, visited several Rohingya camps in Ukhiya and the second transit camp in Ghumdhum, Naikhyangchhari.

On the visit held yesterday, the team inspected humanitarian operations conducted by international aid agencies at Kutupalong Registered Camp and Camps 4, 17, and 18. 

The delegation observed relief distribution, LPG supply, biometric registration, women-friendly centers, sanitation facilities, healthcare services, and cultural activities promoting Myanmar traditions among the refugees.

The visiting delegation included Director General of the Myanmar Wing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Md. Kamruzzaman, and Director Sujon Debnath.

Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner Md. Mizanur Rahman, camp officials, representatives of international organizations, and law enforcement personnel were also present during the visit.

The delegation later visited the second transit camp in Ghumdhum to assess overall security arrangements and gather updates on the ongoing repatriation preparedness.
