The government has decided to keep fuel oil prices unchanged for the month of April, marking the second consecutive month of stable rates. Petrol, octane, diesel and kerosene will continue to be sold at existing prices.

The information was disclosed on Saturday in an official order issued by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the order, the prices have been reviewed and adjusted in line with the revised automatic fuel pricing guidelines at the consumer level.

Under the existing rates, the consumer-level price of diesel has been set at Tk 100 per litre, while kerosene is priced at Tk 112 per litre. Petrol and octane will be sold at Tk 116 and Tk 120 per litre respectively. These rates remained unchanged in February and March as well.

The revised pricing will come into effect from April 1.
