The stretch of road from Cox’s Bazar to Teknaf along the Marine Drive Road is flanked by rows of lush green hills and dense vegetation, creating a living natural painting crafted by nature itself.
Even during the intense heat of April, these green hills remain vibrant, making the route a reliable source of relief for travelers.
In the late afternoon, the cool breeze flowing through the hill-lined road, combined with the blue waters of the sea and the abundance of greenery, creates a breathtaking atmosphere.
Many tourists stop their vehicles, stand on the slopes of the hills, take photographs, and enjoy the unspoiled beauty of nature.
A tourist from Dhaka, Saiful Islam, said he felt a sense of calm despite the scorching heat. He added that the combination of green hills and sea views is truly refreshing and deeply satisfying.
Another visitor said the green hills along Marine Drive provide visual relief, making it possible to spend time there without feeling the intensity of the heat.
Locals say that beyond the peak tourist seasons, this stretch of Marine Drive becomes even more beautiful during this time of year.
Various tree species and natural greenery covering the hills enhance the area’s overall scenic appeal.
Enchanted by this natural beauty, visitors continue to arrive at Marine Drive every day. Even during the peak of summer heat, the refreshing charm of the green hills makes trips to Cox’s Bazar more vibrant and memorable.
