A Harmony Assembly took place in Malumghat, Chakaria, under the slogan “Different people, different paths—united we stand to change society and the nation.” Organized by local youth and students, the event took place yesterday at the Ideal School grounds, bringing together people from various religious communities.
Malumghat Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mehedi Hasan attended as the chief guest. He praised the peaceful coexistence of different religious groups in the area and urged everyone to maintain this spirit of harmony. He also called on parents to be vigilant in keeping their children away from drugs.
Among the speakers were Principal A.M. Faridul Alam Chowdhury of Pekua Shaheed Zia BM Institute, religious leader Kajol Mallik from Christian Memorial Baptist Church, and members of the Student Movement. They emphasized that Malumghat stands as a shining example of communal harmony and expressed hope that its spirit of unity would inspire others globally.
