Heavy rain is predicted at Cox’s Bazar during the next 24 hours, according to the Directorate of Meteorology Cox’s Bazar.
“Cox’s Bazar may have intense rains for a full day,” said Abdul Hannan, assistant meteorologist of the Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Department.
Moreover, the prognosis for the following three days indicates that Cox’s Bazar may get moderate to heavy rainfalls.
He warned that heavy rains could cause landslides in some areas and urged the people staying in the foothills to exercise caution.
40–60 kph gusty wind may likely blow across coastal locations, he added.
