Cox’s Bazar beach turned into a canvas of natural beauty on Friday afternoon as visitors gathered to enjoy the weekly holiday amid pleasant weather conditions.
Following several days of continuous monsoon rain during the month of Ashar, the absence of rainfall since morning brought a sense of relief to the beach area. The blue sky, scattered clouds and rolling waves of the Bay of Bengal combined to create a picturesque setting for tourists.
As the afternoon progressed, crowds of domestic and foreign visitors began flocking to the beach. Some came with their families, others with friends, while many chose to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves and the soft touch of the sandy shore on their own. The beach areas at Laboni, Sugandha and Kolatoli became particularly vibrant with holidaymakers.
Tourist Rubel said, “The beauty created by the sea waves and the afternoon light is difficult to describe in words. I am enjoying a wonderful time here with my family.”
Local business owners also said that the holiday crowds had brought renewed vibrancy to the beach area. Hotels, restaurants and recreational facilities experienced increased activity as more visitors spent time along the coast.
Amid the changing moods of nature, Cox’s Bazar beach once again demonstrated that, even during the monsoon season, it remains a destination of remarkable beauty and enduring appeal.
