As the guava season is in full swing, fresh guavas are a popular choice among fruit lovers.
Known for their delicious taste, affordability, and high nutritional value, guavas are a favorite, despite being available year-round. Packed with essential nutrients like vitamin C, they offer numerous health benefits.
On Thana Road in Cox’s Bazar, Mohammad Ibrahim was spotted selling guavas from his van, undeterred by the falling rain. Originally from Chakaria upazila, Ibrahim sources his guavas from the Dohazari area.
Speaking to Cox’s Bazar Life, he said that they sell guavas by the dozen.
“Large guavas are sold for Tk100 per dozen, while medium ones go for Tk50-Tk60 per dozen,” he added.
Despite the weather, Ibrahim’s dedication ensures that locals can enjoy fresh guavas during the season.
