The Cox’s Bazar District Coordination Meeting of Jatiya Jubo Shakti was held on Monday at Shalik Conference Hall in the heart of the city’s Kalatali area. The meeting, which began in the afternoon, brought together youth and student leaders from various upazilas across the district.

The event’s chief guest, ASM Suza Uddin, Joint Member Secretary of the National Citizens’ Party (NCP), emphasized the importance of youth in building a new Bangladesh.

“We must empower young people to become entrepreneurs. With the right skills, our youth can lead not only in the global market but also in the Bay of Bengal region,” he stated.

The session was jointly moderated by Asif Mohammad Bappi, Central Organizer of National Youth Power, and Umme Habiba Shiru, an emerging journalist and youth leader.

During the program, Masud, uncle of late Shaheed Ahsan Habib, shared a heartfelt tribute. He called on the interim government to sincerely pursue the implementation of the 2024 ‘July Charter’, aimed at reform and justice.

A minute of silence was observed in honor of those martyred and injured during the July-August 2024 movement.

The meeting also saw the participation of NCP district organizers and supporters, who warmly welcomed the activities of National Youth Power and shared future plans to engage the youth of Cox’s Bazar.

In her speech, Sabrina Rahim Priya, a central organizer of the movement, remarked,

“Each of us is a leader in our own right. True leadership begins within, no matter the circumstances.”

The coordination meeting concluded with closing remarks from Asif Mohammad Bappi, officially bringing the day’s program to a close.
