The Ministry of Education has introduced multimedia classrooms across schools to enhance the quality of primary education. As part of this initiative, 56 primary schools in Ukhiya received laptops and multimedia teaching tools today.
The distribution ceremony took place at the premises of the Ukhiya Upazila Parishad, with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Kamrul Hossain Chowdhury present as the chief guest. Former Upazila Chairman Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, Upazila Primary Education Officer Ashraful Islam Siraji, and headteachers of various schools were also in attendance.
According to the Primary Education Officer, the occasion marks the first phase of the distribution, aiming to digitally empower classrooms and bring interactive learning tools to young students in the region.
