In a heartwarming initiative to ease the suffering of underprivileged people during winter, the Manobik Team Kutubdia has set a remarkable example by distributing warm clothes to those in need across various island areas.
The team provided blankets and other winter essentials to over a hundred impoverished families, funded entirely through the contributions of its dedicated volunteers.
Shahab Uddin, a team member, said, “The biting cold has been causing immense hardship for the less fortunate. Our small effort aims to alleviate their pain, and we plan to continue such initiatives.”
Notable personalities attended the distribution event, including Kutubdia Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Rafiqul Islam, Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Moin Uddin, Manobik Team Kutubdia advisor, journalist Nazrul Islam, and Abul Kashem.
Speakers praised the team’s initiative, describing it as a praiseworthy and replicable social welfare act.
This noble gesture brought much-needed warmth to the underprivileged, earning widespread appreciation from the local community.
