Nazmul Islam and his wife, Jannatul Ferdous, from Old Dhaka have arrived in Cox’s Bazar for a five-day family holiday, turning heads with coordinated outfits during their first beach outing.
The family was seen strolling along Darianagar Beach near the Marine Drive on Saturday afternoon, all dressed in matching colours, adding a stylish touch to their seaside holiday.
Speaking to reporters, Nazmul Islam said the idea of dressing the entire family in matching outfits came from his wife.
“We came to Cox’s Bazar for a five-day vacation with the whole family. Today is our first day. After taking some rest at the hotel, we came to the beach to enjoy the sea. Over the next four days, we plan to visit different tourist attractions and spend time at the world’s longest natural sea beach,” he said.
Jannatul Ferdous said they might extend their stay if everything went well.
“We plan to stay for five days for now,” she said. If everyone remains healthy and safe, we may extend the trip by another two days,’ she said.
She added that Cox’s Bazar remained their favourite destination for spending quality time with family.
‘Now we’re also thinking about where to eat over the coming days. All of us are especially looking forward to trying Cox’s Bazar’s seafood,’ she said.
The family’s coordinated beachwear and extended holiday plans reflect the growing popularity of family-oriented tourism in Cox’s Bazar, where matching outfits have become a common trend for creating memorable travel moments and family photographs.
