In Cox’s Bazar, “Smart Tea Seller Noman” has made a name for himself through his unique and stylish way of serving tea.
Noman runs his tea stall beneath the Samabaya Super Market, at the head of Road No. 6 in Cox’s Bazar town. Known for his friendly and welcoming attitude, Noman says that once a customer comes for tea, they keep coming back for more.
His tea stall has attracted attention on various social media platforms and YouTube, where videos showcase his engaging service and the vibrant atmosphere around his stall.
What sets Noman apart from typical tea sellers is his commitment to maintaining a modern touch in his small shop. He dresses smartly and communicates with customers in a cheerful, respectful manner. Noman also actively uses social media to promote his tea stall, which has helped him reach a wider audience.
His menu offers a variety of teas catering to different tastes and budgets. Some of his popular offerings include “Red-Green Tea” (Bengalis’ favorite) and “Middle-Class Tea,” both for Tk 10; “Mixed Masala Tea” and “Ginger Lemon Tea” at Tk 15; “Green Tea,” “Mint Leaf Tea,” and “Malta Tea” at Tk 20; and “Spicy Tamarind Tea” for Tk 30. He also offers “Chili Tea” (sour and spicy) at Tk 20, “Adani Smart Tea (Special)” at Tk 40, and even “Cashew Nut Tea” at Tk 50.
Through a blend of innovation, friendly service, and effective social media outreach, Noman has become a small yet notable symbol of entrepreneurship in Cox’s Bazar’s tea culture.
