The monthly welfare and crime review meeting for June was held by Cox’s Bazar District Police on Monday. The meetings took place at separate times at the conference room of the Superintendent of Police’s office and the Police Lines auditorium.

Superintendent of Police, Md. Saifuddin Shaheen presided over the meetings.

In his address, the Superintendent directed officers to take necessary measures to maintain law and order in their respective jurisdictions in line with the instructions of the Home Affairs Adviser and the Inspector General of Police.

Later, awards and cash prizes were presented to the best officers in various categories, including Best Officer-in-Charge, Best Officer in Arms Recovery, and Best Officer in Warrant Execution, as well as special recognition awards.

The meetings were attended by senior district police officials, representatives from the Armed Police Battalion (APBn), Tourist Police, CID, Department of Narcotics Control, Department of Environment, officers-in-charge of nine police stations, and heads of various police units.
