The much-anticipated Multimedia Football Tournament has kicked off in Cox’s Bazar. The opening matches were held on Tuesday evening in a festive atmosphere at the Homies Sports Arena turf in Khurushkul.
In the first match of the day, CCN faced off against Kohelia, securing a dominant 4-0 victory. In the second match, CJN edged past CBN with a 2-1 win.
A total of ten multimedia news outlets from Cox’s Bazar are participating in the tournament, generating significant excitement and enthusiasm among local journalists.
According to the upcoming schedule, on July 3, Panoa News will face Probal News, while TTN will take on Telegram News. On July 5, STN will play against Chattogram Tribune.
Imam Khair, convener of the tournament organizing committee, stated, “The matches are being played in a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship. We are hopeful that the tournament will be completed smoothly and successfully.”
The tournament aims to strengthen the bonds and cooperation among local journalists through sports and healthy competition.
