A friendly football match was held in Cox’s Bazar to mark Independence Day and National Day, with the municipality team securing a convincing victory.
The match took place at Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, where the Cox’s Bazar district team faced the municipality team.
In a competitive encounter, the municipal side defeated the district administration team 2–0, displaying impressive attacking coordination and a solid defensive performance that drew praise from spectators.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad A. Mannan attended the prize-giving ceremony as the chief guest. He handed over awards to the winning team and emphasised the importance of promoting unity and patriotism through sports.
