After three consecutive days of cautionary signals, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department has instructed the country’s four seaports to lower their weather alert signals.

The directive was announced in a bulletin signed by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday (July 2).

Abdul Hannan, Assistant Meteorologist at the Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Office, stated that there is no longer any risk of gusty winds over the North Bay and along the Bangladesh coast. As a result, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra seaports have been advised to lower their cautionary signals.
