A six-member delegation from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka visited several Rohingya camps in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday to observe ongoing humanitarian activities.

The delegation began their visit at the World Food Programme’s Aggregation Centre in the Balukhali Rohingya Camp, where they were briefed on food distribution mechanisms and logistics management.

They also toured an LPG distribution centre operated by an international organization in Block C-15 of Camp-11, where they observed the gas distribution process to Rohingya families.

Later, the team visited Camp-8W and Camp-4, engaging in open conversations with Rohingya residents to gain firsthand insights into their daily lives and needs.

The visit was led by Ms. Stein Renate Håheim, Deputy Minister of Norway’s Ministry of International Development, and other senior officials from the embassy. Their presence underscores Norway’s continued support and interest in the Rohingya humanitarian response.
