During the monsoon, the vibrant bloom of hibiscus adds a fresh splash of color to nature’s canvas. Known for its ornamental beauty, hibiscus flowers have a unique charm that is hard to overlook, and among them, the delicate pink hibiscus is now catching the eyes of tourists along the Cox’s Bazar Marine Drive, particularly near the Bantkokian Restaurant.
During a recent visit, it was observed that these pink hibiscus flowers stand tall in their quiet elegance, drawing the admiration of both locals and tourists exploring Marine Drive. As the monsoon season brings lush greenery and cool breezes, many visitors are not only enjoying the natural beauty. Still, they are also capturing the vibrant pink hibiscus in their cameras as a memory of their trip.
According to botanists, there are many varieties of hibiscus, including red hibiscus, lantern hibiscus, hibiscus mutabilis, pink hibiscus, and copper hibiscus. However, the pink hibiscus is relatively rare to spot and is considered a hybrid variety. Known scientifically as Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, these flowers are notable for their large, striking blooms, adding to the visual appeal of the monsoon landscape.
