The Cox’s Bazar District Rover Scouts have organized a grand camp gathering, campfire, and cultural program as part of the “16th Course for Rover Mate – 2025.” The events took place yesterday evening on the premises of the Primary Teachers’ Training Institute (PTI) in Cox’s Bazar.
Saiduzzaman Chowdhury, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT), attended the event as the chief guest.
Course Leader Abu Taher, District Rover Secretary and Trainer, Md. Abdul Hamid and other officials were also present at the gathering.
Following the camp gathering, participants enjoyed a campfire and a vibrant cultural program. Earlier in the day, the Rover Scouts conducted a beach cleanup drive at Laboni Point, which Tourist Police Additional DIG Apel Mahmud attended.
The four-day training program began last Thursday at the PTI grounds, with 40 Rover Scouts from various upazilas of Cox’s Bazar participating in the course.
