The 26th anniversary of Prothom Alo, one of the nation’s leading newspapers, was celebrated with grandeur at The Cox’s Bazar Press Club auditorium on Friday afternoon.
The event gathered diverse attendees, including teachers, doctors, lawyers, poets, writers, environmental and human rights activists, students from anti-discrimination movements, and newspaper vendors. Prothom Alo Bondhushava organized the celebration.
The program began with a group rendition of the national anthem, followed by a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the fight against discrimination.
Presided over by Nurul Absar, General Secretary of the Cox’s Bazar Bondhushava, the event featured speeches from several distinguished guests.
