Despite the downpour, tourists are soaking in the beauty of the sea on this rainy weekend in Cox’s Bazar. On Friday afternoon, the Laboni Point area of the beach was bustling with visitors—families and loved ones strolling along the shore, some mesmerized by the vastness of the sea. In contrast, others relaxed on beach chairs, quietly taking in the coastal scenery.
Since noon, Cox’s Bazar has experienced intermittent heavy rain, bringing a refreshing coolness to the usually warm weather. The result? The result is a serene and soothing atmosphere, where visitors are relishing the rare experience of a rain-drenched seashore in Bangladesh’s iconic beach town.
