Although all weather alerts for seaports have been lifted due to no possibility of storms in the Bay of Bengal, rain continues to pour down in Cox’s Bazar.

According to Abdul Hannan, Assistant Meteorologist at the Cox’s Bazar Meteorological Office, there is currently no possibility of squally weather over the North Bay, coastal areas of Bangladesh, or its seaports. Therefore, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla, and Payra ports have been advised to lower their cautionary signals.

However, despite the absence of weather alerts, Cox’s Bazar remains under continuous rainfall, which began last night and shows no sign of stopping. This persistent downpour has caused inconvenience for both residents and tourists in the coastal city.

Local authorities have urged people to take necessary precautions, while the meteorological office has indicated that this rainy spell may continue for some time.
