Lojjaboti, in English, known as the Touch-Me-Not plant (Mimosa pudica), is a spiny shrub renowned for its remarkable sensitivity. Unlike other plants, its leaves respond immediately to touch by folding inwards. The plant’s delicate, fluffy pink flowers during this season add to its ethereal beauty. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Lojjaboti holds a special place in Ayurvedic medicine, as its leaf extract is believed to offer remedies for ailments such as cough, nasal and ear bleeding, diarrhea, inflammation, and ulcers.
