Despite the absence of public events in recent years, the spirit of New Year’s Eve celebrations remained alive at Cox’s Bazar beach.
To bid farewell to 2024 and welcome 2025, hundreds of thousands of tourists and locals flocked to the beach for self-organized festivities.
At midnight, the Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni points came alive with vibrant fireworks, lanterns, and firecrackers, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.
A robust security blanket covered Cox’s Bazar city and beach area. District police set up 10 checkpoints for thorough inspections, while the Tourist Police and RAB enforced multi-layered security measures.
This comprehensive arrangement ensured a peaceful and incident-free celebration for all.
