The Cox’s Bazar Electricity Office has issued a notice stating that temporary power outages will occur in various areas of Cox’s Bazar over the next three days.
The outages, scheduled from Saturday (January 8) to Thursday (January 11), are part of maintenance activities to ensure an uninterrupted power supply during the winter season. The work will include repairing and maintaining the 11 kV feeders and trimming tree branches near power lines.
According to the schedule, the affected areas will experience power supply interruptions from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Areas Affected on Wednesday (January 8) will be Bauddha Mandir Road, Goldighir Par, Baytush Sharaf Road, Boillapara, Ghonarpara, Boiddhoghona, Madhyam Ghonarpara, Mohajerpara, Hospital Road, IBP Field, Hazipara, South Dikkul, South Rumaliachhara, Hashemia Madrasa, Goruhalda Road, City College, South of Alir Jahal Road, Sahityika Palli, Kalu’s Dokan, Uttaran, Bus Terminal, Police Line Area, CNG Filling Station, and adjacent areas.
The areas which will face power outages on Thursday (January 9) are Hajipara, South Dikkul, Power House to Marine City, BSCIC Area, RAB-15 Office, Gonoshasthaya Office, Shador Para, Muhuripara, Janar Ghona, Kaimmar Ghona, Nafkunj Para, and nearby areas.
Moreover, on Saturday (January 11), the areas that will suffer from power cut are Hajipara, South Dikkul, Power House to Marine City, BSCIC Area, RAB-15 Office, Gonoshasthaya Office, Shador Para, Muhuripara, Janar Ghona, Kaimmar Ghona, Nafkunj Para, and nearby areas.
The Power Development Board of Cox’s Bazar has apologized for the inconvenience caused to consumers and requested their patience and cooperation.
