Three Rover Scouts from the Crystal Open Scouts Group under Bangladesh Scouts, Dhaka District Rover, have successfully completed a remarkable 150-kilometer journey on foot from Chattogram to Cox’s Bazar.
The journey, undertaken by Tashnimul Hossain (22), Md. Ashraful Haque (21), and Md. Jamehedi Hasan (19), spanned from November 16 to November 20.
Throughout their trek, the scouts actively promoted awareness on key issues such as environmental conservation, poverty alleviation, and the importance of creating employment opportunities.
The journey culminated with a courtesy visit to the Deputy Commissioner of Cox’s Bazar, Mohammad Salahuddin, marking the completion of their inspiring expedition.
Along the way, they explored various scenic spots and enriched their knowledge about the region’s rich heritage and culture.
The Rover Scouting Expedition included the trek as an advanced activity to prepare Rover Scouts for achieving the highest national award in scouting.
The Honorable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh confers this prestigious accolade.
